AMI plans to issue C, D-series five-year registered interest bonds worth 50 million hryvnias, according to the company’s press-service.
The placement of C-series bonds will start on July 21, 2008. The par value of each bond is 1,000 hryvnias. The terms of the issue provide for quarterly pay-outs and semiannual put options. The issue’s underwriter and pay agent will be ZAT Prominvestbank.
AMI will use the bond proceeds to finance its retail expansion program.
According to an earlier UNIAN report, AMI plans to create Ukraine’s largest network of computer stores under the Click brand. By 2012, the chain is to include 364 retail outlets.
Credit Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine, has assigned AMI’s C and D-series bonds a long-term rating of uaBB.
UNIAN reference: AMI’s main business includes systems integration, IT infrastructure development, IT personnel trading and certification, and computer hardware production. It also sells computers through its own retail network.
The company has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 1992.
