The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has approved Cyprus-registered INTERPIPE Limited’s purchase of a controlling stake in VAT Dnipropetrovsk Vtormet, according to the AMC press-service. UNIAN reference: VAT Dnipropetrovsk Vtormet’s primary business is the collection and the processing of iron-and-steel scrap in the Dnipropetrovsk region and the subsequent sale of metal stock to steel companies. In February 2007, the AMC allowed VAT Dnipropetrovsk Vtormet to gain control of a drop-hammer shop of VAT Interpipe Nyzhnyodniprovsk, based in Dnipropetrovsk.
